What are the key responsibilities of the Volunteers?

Main responsibilities, in partnership with YCC, are:

• Deliver in-depth training on how to develop and manage impactful initiatives for social change.

• Offer responsibilities as well.

By participating in YCC, the young people will build out a range of critical skills – such as campaigning, public speaking, branding & marketing, budget management, and proposal writing – as well as network with CSOs, NGOs and like-minded youth from across the region.

Candidate requirements:

• Friendly, positive, cooperative and a great team player.

• Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences, languages or arts.

• High interest and passion for community work, especially in working with young people.

• Full professional proficiency in Macedonian and English. Proficiency in Albanian and/or Turkish will be considered an advantage.

• Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office, Google Tools skills, small library software and social media content management.

• Event planning and coordination skills.

• Ability to conduct narrative and financial reports of events and projects.

• Ability to manage and keep evidence of the financial and other resources belonging to the center.

• Prior community work in management level and volunteering experience will be considered an advantage
