The American Film Showcase of the 2013 Oscar-Winning documentary: 20 Feet From Stardom was an enormous success that provided guests with an incredible once- In- a- lifetime experience to meet the director of the documentary, Doug Blush and have a Q&A session at the end of the screening.
Mr. Blush gave us a sneak peek into his life journey by elaborating on his experiences as an award-winning director, producer, editor, writer, and cinematographer whose work includes over 100 feature and television projects. Another interesting fact about Dough Blush was that he co-owns MadPix Inc, a production and post-production company in Los Angeles dedicated to documentary and independent films. He has also been a longtime film educator with classes and seminars at USC, UCLA, Syracuse University, and the YoungArts Foundation in Miami, as well as exchanges and panels in various countries.
