About the programme:

Young Cities, in partnership with Democracy Lab, is launching its 2020 programme for youth in North Macedonia that will:

• Deliver in-depth training on how to develop and manage impactful initiatives for social change.

• Offer seed-funding of up to US$5,000 as well as other resources for the successful proposals, to support youth-led and youth-owned initiatives in the region.

• Facilitate collaboration and networking with Gostivar municipal government to enhance the effectiveness of youth initiatives.

• Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and training to participating youth throughout the programme.

By participating in Young Cities, the young people will build out a range of critical skills – such as campaigning, public speaking, branding & marketing, budget management, and proposal writing – as well as network with CSOs, NGOs and like-minded youth from across the region.
