YCC hosted two KINTSUGI workshops for participants interested in art. KINTSUGI is the art of restoring ceramic objects using urushi lacquer and gold dust. Following the wabi-sabi aesthetics, it recreates a damaged object, in order for it to gain its original function. KINTSUGI also acquires a metaphorical value as a representation of our inner wounds, and how we are able to be “born” again. This event was organized by Ariant Reka and financed by the Ministry of Culture and the  Municipality of Gostivar.
