A Focus Group on the Local Youth Strategy was organized by the Coalition of Youth Organizations – SEGA within the project "Youth participation for strong and sustainable community development". The Focus Group was implemented by the local coordinators of the project and the participants were able to discuss their ideas and thoughts and also share what they think are the main problems that the youth are facing in our Municipality. There were a total of 16 participants coming from different ages and different professional, cultural, and political backgrounds. At the end of the Focus group, they also shared their opinion on which are the priorities that the new Local Youth Strategy should focus on. The project “Youth participation for strong and sustainable community development” aims to contribute to an independent and sustainable civil society supported by an enabling environment that encourages participatory and gender-sensitive processes of creating youth policies.
