This event was actually an open debate/discussion and it was organized by the Gostivar Youth Council to mark the international day of women in science. The purpose of organizing an event of this type was to encourage young girls/women to get more interested and involved in science. The speakers of the debate were two local physics professors and representatives from the Municipal education department. The event went very well and most of the visitors expectedly were women who shared their thoughts, and experiences and gave suggestions/advice to the young women and girls who are interested in science and see an opportunity to choose their profession in this field.
