YCC had the opportunity to host a coordinative meeting on “Strengthening the Resilience of Local Communities to Violent Extremism in North Macedonia” which was implemented by Center for Common Ground, a CSO with its head office in Skopje. The participants of the training were relevant community actors/stakeholders and representatives from various sectors/institutions, such as high school professors, psychologists, principals, social workers, representatives from the Municipality, the Local Police Unit, and the Islamic Religious Community, as well as representatives from other institutions and NGOs. This was the first, out of many future meetings which are planned to be implemented at YCC, with the purpose of implementing the National Counterterrorism Strategy of the Republic of North Macedonia (2018-2022) on a local level.
