Today YEP started with the implementation of the TechUP course and it held its first session of it. The course consists totally of 8 weekly sessions that will be implemented at the YCC as part of the Techathon project that includes the online platform, the course, and the hackathon contest. Participants were divided into three different groups, and the lessons were facilitated in two languages, in which two groups were on Albanian and one group on the Macedonian language. They were all high school students who had come here during the previous weeks and successfully passed the interviews made by the organizers. Each session lasted approximately for about 2 hours during which students had the opportunity to gain knowledge of programming and creating/designing professional web pages with programs such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, and Word Press.
