The YCC hosted an open discussion and meeting with the community members where were talked topics such as the services available to women victims of gender-based and family violence, together with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Center for Social Affairs, as well as from psycho-social and legal practice, which provide protection and support to women victims.

Solutions for prevention, protection, and support of women victims of violence exist, and the institutions are ready to treat each case professionally, the speakers said. Free legal aid and protection, psycho-social counseling, and care are available to women victims of domestic and gender-based violence.

The meeting was part of the campaign in which meetings are held in local communities across the country, which is being implemented by UNFPA North Macedonia in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with the financial support of the British Embassy in Skopje.
