One outstanding activity was the workshop implemented by our soon-to-be Peace Corps volunteer and current trainee - Jake Long. This workshop preceded a meeting of the YCC staff with the volunteer for the aim of organizing the workshop (choosing the topic, the appropriate age of participants, etc.).  The workshop was on the topic of Public Speaking and it was in one 2-hour session. It included participants on age 16-18 i.e. students from our city’s high schools from different ethnic backgrounds. The whole workshop was arranged and delivered by our volunteer-to-be and on our great pleasure was a great success. The students were very satisfied with the content and found it very educational and useful.
