Within the framework of the project "Building Inclusive and Resilient Communities", the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA) implemented a thematic workshop aimed at preventing violent extremism, strengthening multidisciplinary cooperation and promoting post-penal treatment and reintegration of convicted persons.

The activities were intended for representatives of local governments, professional services from the sectors of public interest (child, social and health care, education), as well as for multidisciplinary teams and representatives from penal institutions and local communities.

The workshop covered:

Recognizing emerging forms of extremism and early signs of radicalization. The role of municipalities and local institutions in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting risk phenomena. Mechanisms for cooperation between institutions and the community A special focus was placed on intersectoral coordination and practical approaches for timely response, in order to strengthen the resilience of local communities and prevent the risks of radicalization.
