Certified Training for Young Volunteers in Crisis Situations- Part 1
Events
A total of 32 high school students participated in the Certified Training for Young Volunteers in Crisis Situations, designed to equip young people with essential knowledge and practical skills for responding to emergencies and crisis situations.
Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and discussions, participants learned about the role and responsibilities of volunteers during crises, basic emergency response procedures, teamwork, communication, and responsible action in challenging situations. The training encouraged young people to become more prepared, confident, and active members of their communities.
Upon successful completion of the training, participants received certificates recognizing their participation and newly acquired skills.
The activity was funded by the Government of Switzerland, supporting youth empowerment, community resilience, and the development of young volunteers capable of contributing effectively in times of crisis.
