116,300 MKD for three organizations 💙

With great honor and pleasure, we announce that on 17.12.2024, the First Donor Circle in Gostivar was successfully implemented. This event was organized by Demokrasi Lab – YCC as a Local Action Core within the project "Unite for the Community", which is implemented by the Konekt association and funded by USAID North Macedonia

The event was an opportunity for solidarity and support of local communities, during which three inspiring initiatives from local organizations were presented:

When in Trouble An initiative that raised funds to provide New Year's packages for children, in order to bring joy and warmth during the holiday period.

Etika Center for Women's Rights This organization requested support for the operational costs of the shelter house, which serves as a safe haven for women victims of domestic violence.

I Can – Their idea was to create a library for young people with self-help books aimed at combating peer violence and anxiety, providing them with tools to better cope with challenges.

With the joint efforts and generosity of those present, 116,300 denars were collected to support these initiatives.

Gostivar showed that it has a heart for solidarity and that through joint efforts we can achieve a lot. Thank you to everyone who got involved and made their contribution to the community! 💙
