The YCC staff continued implementing the sessions within the Media Literacy Program and today the participants had the opportunity to learn and discuss the difference between facts and opinions and be able to understand and recognize them. They were also able to learn about traditional media, identify owners of each type of media, and Journalism standards, as well the freedom of the press and freedom of speech.

The Media Literacy program provides the youth in our community with in-depth knowledge about the current media landscape including the different types of media, ownership of media, learning about social media, and recognizing disinformation.
