OPEN CALL FOR COORDINATOR

Youth and Community Center – Gostivar

Democracy Lab – Youth and Community Center (YCC) in Gostivar is seeking a motivated, responsible, and communicative individual to join our team as a Coordinator at the Youth and Community Center.

The Coordinator will contribute to the daily functioning of the Center, support the implementation of youth and community activities, and work closely with young people, community members, partners, and organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating the daily activities and programs of the Youth and Community Center;

• Communicating and working directly with young people and community members;

• Organizing and supporting workshops, trainings, events, and other activities;

• Facilitating workshops, discussions, and group activities;

• Supporting the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives;

• Maintaining communication with project partners, participants, and stakeholders;

• Supporting project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks;

• Promoting the Youth and Community Center and its activities within the local community;

• Contributing to the development of new activities, initiatives, and partnerships;

• Performing other tasks related to the successful operation of the Center.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English;

• Previous experience in facilitation, especially working with young people or community groups;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team;

• Strong organizational and time-management skills;

• Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach to work;

• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace;

• Interest in youth work, community development, and civic engagement;

• Previous experience in project implementation will be considered an advantage;

• Experience in project proposal writing and/or project development will be considered a strong advantage;

• Experience working in an NGO, youth organization, or similar environment will be considered an advantage.
