On 18.12.2023, the YCC had the pleasure of hosting the Public Debate on the Local Youth Strategy 2024-2028, organized by the Local Youth Council of Gostivar Municipality. Representatives from the Agency for Youth and Sports, Valbon Limani - President of the Gostivar Municipality Council, Art Spahiu, strategy drafter and activist from OYA, Azra Sadiku Nuredini, youth officer in Gostivar Municipality, and Elton Jashari, coordinator of the YCC participated in the debate.

During the debate, the draft proposal of the action plan was presented to the youth forums of political parties, municipal councilors, non-governmental organizations, secondary schools, students, and pupils. The vision and goals of the strategy were discussed at length, with special emphasis being placed on the need for cooperation between all parties.

The local Youth Strategy 2024-2028 is a strategic document that defines the medium-term goals of the Municipality in relation to local youth policies.
