We are excited and more than happy to start a new program. "Recognizing and Countering Hate Speech" is our new program started today, facilitated by our Peace Corps volunteer Jack Long. This program will address the important issue of recognizing and countering hate speech. Through participation in this program, participants will be able to understand the meaning and negative impact of hate speech, social responsibility, harmfulness, and prevention.

The first session introduced the concept of Hate Speech and discussed culture. This is a crucial topic that promotes inclusivity, tolerance, and understanding among young people. A session focused on this matter can be both educational and empowering. By addressing hate speech through education and community engagement, the YCC program can contribute to building a more tolerant and compassionate society.
